Yesterday’s wedding was absolutely gorgeous. It rained all morning, but when it was time to take photos outside of the University of Dayton chapel where Magge & Joe planned to get married, the rain magically stopped. After their church wedding ceremony, we headed to Riverscape Metropark in downtown Dayton to get some photos of the bride & groom. Then the newlyweds and their guests enjoyed a beautiful reception at The Steam Plant.

My favorite venue in the Cincinnati area is The Marmalade Lily, and I always look forward to participating in their open houses. If you have never been to a wedding open house, it’s when a venue invites their favorite vendors to set up booths and couples can come enjoy food, desserts, and live music while touring the venue and meeting all the great businesses in attendance. There are often show exclusive offers and giveaways, too!

Yesterday’s wedding at The Transept in Cincinnati was so much fun. The day started off chilly with a little snow, even though it’s already the end of March. Ohio weather can be unpredictable. The bride & groom embraced the day, venturing outside at Washington Park for some portraits with their bridal party.

I am so excited to share images from one of my favorite editorials ever. It was filled so many great ideas for fun wedding photos. The mimosa bar set up in the reception area was so pretty and would be a great addition to any wedding. It would be a huge hit with all the guests! Then, set up outside was a bounce house. A gorgeous horse was brought out just in time for sunset photos and then there was a popcorn cart with custom printed popcorn bags for the late night snack.

I am so excited to share a quick sneak peek from Caitlin & Josh’s wedding this past weekend at The Lytle Park Hotel in Cincinnati. Even though it’s March, Ohio came through with some truly unpredictable weather. In the middle of their private ceremony, it began to snow. So of course we headed straight out to the rooftop terrace at the Lytle Park Hotel for some snowy wedding photos. It was freezing cold and completely magical.

One thing I absolutely love to do is work on creative editorials and branding sessions with my fellow Dayton and Cincinnati wedding vendors. When my friends from Blush & Bloom Weddings and Let’s Do Makeup and Hair told me what they had in mind for this editorial wedding photo shoot, I was beyond excited to be a part of it.

I am so excited too share images from a really fun project that I worked on recently with an incredible team of wedding vendors. Brooke from Pink With Envy Events is growing her team of wedding planners and needed some updated images to share the news! She planned an amazing branding photo session filled with bright pink details and I am absolutely smitten with how it turned out.

There are few things I love more than a beautifully renovated historic wedding venue. The Windamere, located in Middletown, Ohio, is a bank turned wedding venue. They go above and beyond in the services that they provide, and truly aim to create a unique and high-end experience for couples who get married there.

After an insanely busy year back at it in the events industry, an amazing team of wedding vendors got together to put on an end of the year bash with a fun, tropical survivor-themed vibe. Here are a few images of the event design. I love the Palm Springs inspired vibe, with lots of black & white with pink and green accents.
