Meet the Photographer

Brit Jaye

I’ve been photographing weddings exclusively for the past twelve years, and one thing I’ve learned is that people need a photographer who can do a little bit of everything well. I can take charge, get a big group organized, keep things efficient, and still make people laugh while I’m doing it. I’m a little no-nonsense, but usually in a way that puts people at ease.

I’m also very intuitive about when a moment needs me and when it doesn’t. I know when to step in, when to stay quiet, and when to fix the little things no one else noticed- because I notice everything. A messy background, a crooked boutonnière- I’m probably already handling it.

I love art and I love a good love story, and weddings let me bring both together. I want you to look back at your photos and remember not just how everything looked, but what it felt like to live it.
