Last night, the city of Montgomery, Ohio welcomed a brand new bridal boutique to their downtown area. Montgomery Bridal is a gorgeous bridal gown dress shop that focuses on excellent client experience. They truly want their brides to enjoy the process of finding the perfect wedding gown, and put a huge effort into making every dress shopping appointment a magical one.

Every wedding day is different, but at this Dayton wedding, something happened that I have never seen before. I have been photographing weddings for quite a while, but this was definitely a first. Here’s the scoop. Nichole & Kyle got married on the same day as Nichole’s grandparents. They wanted to celebrate that they share the same special wedding anniversary day, so they surprised her grandparents with a cake of their own during the reception. It was such a sweet moment.

Summer engagement sessions are one of my absolute favorite things. It’s nice and warm outside. Everything is lush and green, and the sunsets are especially glowy- which is perfect for sunset engagement photos. This engagement session at Cox Arboretum was so much fun. If you don’t already know, Ault Park is easily one of the absolute best locations for engagement sessions in Cincinnati. It’s such a large park with lots of different spots to take great photos. This recent spring engagement session was so much fun. K & C brought their dog along for just a few minutes at the very beginning of their session; and then a friend picked him up to take him home so they could also get some photos without their pup. I

The Buckeye Barn has the most beautiful barn and outdoor ceremony space. Guests enjoyed a country wedding on a warm & sunny spring day. It was a celebration to remember. Kylie & Ben tied the knot yesterday at the Oakwood Municipal Court- which is such a place to get married in Oakwood, Ohio. They brought their dog, Winston, along for the celebration, since they wanted to have their ceremony outside. He even wore a suit & tie- complete with a pocket square so that him and Ben could match. It was perfect. I also love that they brought a cutting cake along with a personalized cake topper.

This spring engagement session is what dreams are made of. We began our time together at French Park in Cincinnati. K + J brought their dog, Geneva, along to be a part of the beginning of their engagement session. Towards the end of our time at French Park, a friend came by to pick their pup up so they could spend some time getting images of just the two of them.

Spring engagement sessions officially have me swooning. This recent engagement session at the Dayton Art Institute was so much fun. Lauren and Randy have such a natural and fun connection- photographing them was literally such a joy for me. One of my favorite things about my job is seeing how a couple connects and capturing that unique dynamic in photographs so they can hold onto those moments forever.

Saturday was pure wedding magic. Christina & Ryan had an ethereal garden wedding in Loveland, Ohio. Every detail came together to create an other-worldly vibe. From Christina’s bridal headpiece to the ornate cake cutting utensils- this wedding was romantic and atmospheric. Guests enjoyed an outdoor dinner reception while the sun set over the garden at The Marmalade Lily. The resident wedding cat even came out to say hello to guests.
