Confetti & Champagne Wedding Inspiration at Dayton Arcade
I am so excited to bring you the second of four styled shoots at Dayton Arcade, a newly renovated historic wedding & event venue in downtown Dayton. The Dayton Arcade is such an exciting new addition to the downtown Dayton wedding venues. It’s quite large and has unique historic architectural elements that make it truly one of a kind. This design was pink & peppy, with lots of details inspired by confetti and champagne.
Wedding Photos at The Dayton Arcade
Going inside The Dayton Arcade is something I have wanted to do for as long as I can remember. My grandmother used to shop there, many years ago. I have heard so many times about how insanely beautiful the inside of the building is. When the opportunity to photograph a styled shoot there popped up, I knew I had to be there! I am so excited to show you guys what it looks like now, after all the renovations have been completed. This historic downtown Dayton location is ready to take on weddings!
Spring Wedding Inspiration at The Marmalade Lily
If you are looking for spring wedding inspiration, look no further! Yesterday’s bridal showcase at The Marmalade Lily was overflowing with gorgeous spring wedding ideas that I am so excited to share with you. From the bright and colorful vintage rentals to the unique statement floral design, all the vendors did an amazing job bringing their best spring ideas for couples to gather information and plan their weddings. There was a bright and colorful boho lounge area that was a definite show-stopper.
Come Visit Me at The Marmalade Lily on March 27
One of the most fun parts of being engaged is planning the big day and attending bridal shows. If you haven’t been to one, I highly recommend checking it out. There are lots of great vendors there for you to meet and nail down all the details for your big day. You can also enjoy amazing food from catering and dessert companies.
Winter Wedding at Oakwood Courthouse
Tillman & Star tied the knot on a snowy day in February, surrounded by their family. Weddings at the Courthouse in Oakwood, Ohio are always beautiful and their special day was no exception. I love a winter wedding- especially when there is a layer of fresh snow on the ground. It was definitely a cold day, so the bride wore a hooded, fur-lined cape to keep herself warm. Wearing some kind of outer layer for outdoor photos at a winter wedding is always a great idea.
Engagement Photos at Ault Park in Winter
Winter engagement sessions are always favorites of mine. The weather, although unpredictable, can be really beautiful in Ohio. Sometimes it’s snowy, and other times- like in the case of this engagement session at Ault Park, it is foggy. Ault Park is great all year round, and winter there is no exception. There are actually great spots for photos that you can only use during winter because their tent is taken down for the year and the main structure is totally exposed.
Snowy Engagement Photos at Cox Arboretum
Planning for a snowy photo session can be really difficult in Ohio. The weather changes so quickly and it’s hard to know if there will be snow or not. We were hoping for some snow for this winter engagement session at Cox Arboretum. Although there wasn’t a heavy layer of snow on the ground, it did snow the whole time, which was so beautiful.
Winter Engagement Session in Downtown Dayton
I am over here absolutely obsessing over this adorable engagement session in downtown Dayton. Winter engagement sessions are sometimes cold and dreary, but this one was anything but that. We began our session at Dayton Beer Company, who was kind enough to allow us to take a few photos while N & K enjoyed a couple of beers inside their bar area. The large windows let in lots of light, and they brew beer right there in the middle of the room- it looks really cool.
Winter Wedding at The Phoenix in Cincinnati
This day was a long time coming. C & Q pushed their wedding back during the uncertainty of 2020. After so much time planning and then planning again, it was so wonderful to finally celebrate their big day. The Phoenix was absolutely beautiful- the perfect venue for a winter wedding in Cincinnati. I am so excited to share a quick look from yesterday’s wedding at The Phoenix in downtown Cincinnati.
