University of Dayton Engagement Session
I love a meaningful engagement session location, and when L & E told me they wanted to have their photos taken at the University of Dayton where they met, I was so excited. During their time at UD, these two lovebirds lived just a few houses away from one another. When the time came for Evan to move, he and Liz didn’t know what to expect, but felt sad that they wouldn’t be down the street neighbors anymore. As luck (or fate) would have it, he ended up moving into a house that was even closer, which neither of them anticipated.
An Autumn Engagement Session at Cox Arboretum in Dayton, Ohio
Fall is probably the most popular season for engagement sessions, and with good reason. The leaves provide a gorgeous color palette for outdoor engagement photos and the weather is usually pleasant. This recent engagement photography session at Cox Arboretum was definitely a favorite of mine. It was just a little chilly- the perfect weather to wear sweaters and cuddle together.
Wedding at the Cincinnati Art Museum
Yesterday’s wedding at The Cincinnati Art Museum was absolutely stunning. Shannon & Mike tied the knot in front of their family and friends in the courtyard of the museum- a beautiful outdoor ceremony space with the best natural lighting. There were so many great moments throughout the day, but one of my absolute favorites was when Mike first saw Shannon during their first look.
Fall Engagement Photography Session at Cox Arboretum
I’m just going to come out and say it- Cox Arboretum is the best place in Dayton for fall engagement photos. Early Sunday morning, I met with C & R for their engagement session at Cox Arboretum. We arrived just after sunrise and the park was peaceful. We pretty much had the whole place to ourselves.
Expertly Styled October Wedding at The Marmalade Lily
There was just something so special about yesterday’s wedding at The Marmalade Lily. October is the best month of the year for a fall wedding. The weather is perfect and the leaves are at peak coloration. K & R tied the knot surrounded by trees and their closest of friends and family. This intimate wedding was absolutely perfect. Every detail was thought out with guest experience in mind. There were lounge areas scattered around the venue- including one specifically for the kids.
Fall Family Photo Session at Bill Yeck Park in Centerville
I am so excited to share a quick look at this darling family photo session at Bill Yeck Park in Centerville, Ohio from this past weekend. The youngest child is turning one soon, so they wanted to incorporate a smash cake into the end of the session. I love that they all jumped in to share the one year old’s cake at the very end. It was such a sweet family moment.
Gorgeous September Wedding at Rolling Meadows Ranch
Fall weddings are my favorite, and this beautiful day at Rolling Meadows Ranch was so dreamy. Yesterday Laura & Robert tied the knot at their outdoor ceremony, surrounded by family and friends. It was the perfect autumn day to celebrate a wedding- crisp and breezy, comfortable for all of their guests to enjoy both indoors and outdoors.
Family Photography at the Creek
Ok, I have a confession to make. I have wanted to photograph at this location for as long as I can remember. I grew up going to this park, and this specific spot is gorgeous. It’s a great spot for family photos, too because the water is shallow overall. Kids can splash their feet in the water and explore the little waterfalls in this section of Holes Creek.
Fall Wedding at Stone Valley Meadows
Weather in Ohio is unpredictable at best, but yesterday’s fall wedding was absolutely gorgeous. It was warm, but not hot- the perfect early autumn day to enjoy an outdoor wedding at Stone Valley Meadows. Everyone gathered to celebrate Hannah & Tyler, and I am so excited to share a quick look at some photographs from their big day.
