Our engagement session began at Ziegler Park; where the last bits of fall lingered in the trees. During our photo session, we ventured around Over-the-Rhine, looking for fun little spots to take photos along the way. The neighborhood there is bright and covered in art. It’s one of those urban backgrounds where the old architecture meets new designs to create a truly unique vibe.

Yesterday Chelsea & Ian said ‘I do’ at the beautiful octagon barn at Orrmont Farms. It was a chilly November day with lots of sunshine. When I arrived, the bride-to-be was an excited ball of energy; pacing the getting ready room. Right before Chelsea got into her wedding dress, she and her sister took a moment for a deep, calming breath. I truly feel like this should be added to the official made-of-honor list of duties. It was the perfect thing.

This weekend can’t come fast enough. These two amazing people will be tying the knot and I can’t wait to capture every moment. For their engagement session, they opted to do have their photos taken at Cox Arboretum Metropark. It was a cool fall morning in mid-October. The park was quiet as we wandered around, exploring and enjoying a morning walk wile we took some engagement photos. I honestly can’t think of a better way to start the day.

Ault Park is one of my absolute favorite locations for photographing engagement sessions. There is just so much variety there. Even when it’s extremely crowded, like it was during this engagement session, there is just an absolute ton to work with. Cincinnati has some great parks, and Ault Park is no exception. I love a unique engagement session location, and this one has all the fall vibes. I am so excited to share Samantha & Caleb’s pumpkin patch engagement photos. Their session was in mid-October, so what better way to truly capture that fall feeling than at a neighborhood farm and pumpkin patch. We spent the evening wandering around Shaw Farms, a pumpkin patch just outside of Cincinnati, taking photos to celebrate their engagement.

This past Saturday I had the honor of photographing Matt & Sarah’s gorgeous wedding in Downtown Dayton. Sarah began the day at Salon 5, where she got ready and did a fun first look with her bridesmaids. She chose to only have her two maids of honor and her mother in the room while she got into her wedding dress to keep her look a surprise for the rest of girls. Then everyone headed to the University of Dayton, where the ceremony was held.

Ault Park in Cincinnati is one of my favorite locations for engagement sessions. Hannah and Tyler decided to do their engagement session during the fall, and in true Ohio style- it was 85 degrees. That definitely didn’t stop us from getting some gorgeous photos. We had so much fun wandering around Ault Park and taking advantage of all the great backgrounds there.

The amount of Harry Potter inspiration incorporated into this bookish wedding was enough to make this book-lover swoon. Each table was numbered with a different chapter from a Harry Potter book and there were even flowers made from book pages. Their Star Wars and Harry Potter cake topper was amazing. They incorporated all their fandoms in the best way.
