This engagement session in Yellow Springs, Ohio was an absolute dream. S & B wanted to use some gorgeous variety that Yellow Springs has to offer. Since it was fall, we decided to combine some woodsy nature vibes with the central area of small town Yellow Springs(which has a kind of artsy village look with lots of interesting little nooks and crannies). We had an awesome engagement session and got a lot of different looks from just one location.

Cincinnati is a gorgeous city, and a perfect location for an engagement photo session. R & K decided they wanted to have their engagement photos taken in Cincinnati along the river at Smale Park. We set the time for early morning, so that we could avoid any crowds. The park was empty, the early morning light glowing, and we were able to wander around and take advantage of everything. Smale Park is a great riverfront location, with views of the Ohio River, the Roebling bridge and The Great American Ball Park.

This recent engagement session at Beavercreek Community Park was so wonderful. It was a blustery day, but C & A were absolute troopers. They were willing to get outside despite the crazy wind and rain to get some engagement photos. The resulting portraits were striking and dramatic in the best way, and I am so excited to share them.

I am so excited to share a quick sneak peek from this adorable portrait session I photographed yesterday out in Indiana. What an amazing location- this is actually their gorgeous property and I was so blown away with how beautiful it was! These are the luckiest kids in the world- they have so much space to run around outside and play! They also showed me their fort that they are working on and it was really awesome.

Yesterday I had the honor of being a part of Cassie & Taylor’s gorgeous fall wedding at The Marmalade Lily. Every detail was absolutely perfect. The Marmalade Lily is one of my favorite venues in southern Ohio. Their barn is completely updated and refinished, and is such a beautiful place to celebrate.

I recently photographed this adorable family photo session at Grant Park in Centerville, Ohio to announce the first official year I will be able to accommodate family portrait requests (which I am SUPER excited about- in the past I have only been able to accept a handful of sessions per year). My sister so graciously allowed me to use her darling family as models. I am so excited how these turned out. Her twins are the cutest, and they were so ready to have fun outside while having their photographs taken. 

Yesterday I had the pleasure of celebrating with G & C as they tied the knot in front of their family and friends. They chose the Springfield Country Club as their wedding venue, and it was absolutely beautiful. Even though there was unexpected rain pretty much the entire evening, we lucked out and had just a little bit of a break in the clouds so we could get some gorgeous photographs of the bride and groom outside.

I am so excited to announce that I am now officially able to offer family photography sessions! Throughout the years, I have only offered family photo sessions by request, often from past wedding or engagement clients that were celebrating the growth of their families. Since we have moved to Ohio, my schedule has changed quite a bit and I am able to open up more session times. I can't wait to see everyones families grow! 

I recently photographed a gorgeous intimate wedding at the Oakwood Municipal Court. L & M wanted to keep their big day simple, and stress-free, so they chose to have a small wedding ceremony. They said 'I do' in front of their closest family and friends.
