I am so excited to share some images from a recent engagement session in downtown San Diego. Stephanie and Israel are a gorgeous couple, and Stephanie had some amazing ideas in mind when we began planning their engagement photo session! We began our session at Balboa Park- which is definitely one of the best places in San Diego for an engagement shoot! Then for our second location, we chose downtown San Diego to get some engagement photos at night, for a completely different look. We got such a great variety of photos to document Stephanie & Israel's engagement!

Balboa Park is a favorite photo location of mine, there are tons of options to choose from for backgrounds and the light is so gorgeous. This couple scheduled a weekday engagement session, which definitely has it's benefits! There was next to no crowd at Balboa Park and in the area where we were shooting downtown. We could take advantage of backgrounds that are particularly hard to get when the park is crowded- like a nice shot of the couple in front of the Botanical Building! On top of all that- parking was a breeze. Although we are used to working around the giant weekend swarms of people that visit Balboa Park & downtown San Diego, it was so nice to have a quiet afternoon in the park! I can't recommend a weekday engagement session enough!

Stephanie looked absolutely incredible in a Terani Couture gown! The gorgeous architecture at Balboa Park was the perfect setting for such an epic dress! Stephanie is a makeup artist and did an amazing job on her hair and makeup. She was absolutely glowing.

A huge congratulations to Stephanie & Israel on their engagement! Enjoy the romantic engagement photos of this amazing couple!
