G + V are so wonderful together, so there was truly no shortage of gorgeous moments during our time together. I loved that light & airy romantic vibe that came through so beautifully in these photographs, and how lush and green the spring landscape looks.

San Diego is an amazing place to have an engagement session. There is no shortage of variety between locations, and you can choose pretty much anything. While planning this morning's engagement session, we were looking a woodsy background, since these two lovebirds will be celebrating their upcoming wedding day in Colorado.
Balboa Park Engagement Session in the Forest
This engagement session was a dream-come-true. I love Kelly's gorgeous outfit, and how well she and Ryan coordinated with each other. It was so perfect for the locations they chose- we began their engagement session at the Redwood Circle in Balboa Park, a unique section of woods hidden away on the less-populated side of the huge park that takes up a large part of central San Diego.

Romantic Garden Engagement Session at Balboa Park
When it comes to romantic engagement sessions, this one may take the cake. Rachel + Troy are absolutely amazing together. Seriously, he even wrote her a song to pop the question-- led her onto a private stage for a special performance where family & friends watched everything quietly from the audience. She didn't even know they were there or what was going on, but of course everything ended in a 'yes!'-- SO. CUTE.
