One of the best Cincinnati wedding venues is Ault Park, a large tented Pavillion that can host over 300 guests. This outdoor wedding venue is the perfect location for both a ceremony and reception, with so many beautiful spaces to take photos throughout the property. It’s one my favorite engagement session locations in Cincinnati as well, because it’s just so picturesque.

I have to tell you a little secret about taking photos at Ault Park in Cincinnati. The best time to be there for photos is early in the morning, when the light comes in from behind the gorgeous staircase and fountain. Not only does the light look best, but it’s also way less crowded than it is later in the day. When J & M told me they wanted to do a sunrise engagement session at Ault Park, I was so excited.

If you don’t already know, Ault Park is easily one of the absolute best locations for engagement sessions in Cincinnati. It’s such a large park with lots of different spots to take great photos. This recent spring engagement session was so much fun. K & C brought their dog along for just a few minutes at the very beginning of their session; and then a friend picked him up to take him home so they could also get some photos without their pup. I

Winter engagement sessions are always favorites of mine. The weather, although unpredictable, can be really beautiful in Ohio. Sometimes it’s snowy, and other times- like in the case of this engagement session at Ault Park, it is foggy. Ault Park is great all year round, and winter there is no exception. There are actually great spots for photos that you can only use during winter because their tent is taken down for the year and the main structure is totally exposed.

Yesterday night was incredibly beautiful. Ault Park is easily one of my favorite places to photograph couples in Cincinnati. Everything there is beautiful, with so many great backgrounds- you really can’t go wrong. I am there quite often, and was recently photographing a newly married couple when another couple approached me to ask for information.

Ault Park is one of my absolute favorite locations for photographing engagement sessions. There is just so much variety there. Even when it’s extremely crowded, like it was during this engagement session, there is just an absolute ton to work with. Cincinnati has some great parks, and Ault Park is no exception. If you are looking for places to have your engagement photos taken in Cincinnati, I definitely recommend it.

Ault Park in Cincinnati is one of my favorite locations for engagement sessions. Hannah and Tyler decided to do their engagement session during the fall, and in true Ohio style- it was 85 degrees.
