If you don’t already know, Ault Park is easily one of the absolute best locations for engagement sessions in Cincinnati. It’s such a large park with lots of different spots to take great photos. This recent spring engagement session was so much fun. K & C brought their dog along for just a few minutes at the very beginning of their session; and then a friend picked him up to take him home so they could also get some photos without their pup. I always recommend doing this so that you get the most variety out of your engagement session. Plus, dogs are usually over it pretty quickly.

Even though it’s still spring, it was very warm outside. Katie & Connor brought an outfit change, which is actually really nice if it’s super hot outside. That way you don’t sweat through your clothes. No one wants sweaty looking engagement photos. If you are planning to have a summer engagement session, check with your photographer to see if it’s ok to do an outfit change. Some photographers charge for it, I currently do not. I just recommend booking enough time to allow for everything you want to do. Enjoy this quick look at Katie & Connor’s engagement photos at Ault Park in Cincinnati!
