Spring engagement sessions officially have me swooning. This recent engagement session at the Dayton Art Institute was so much fun. Lauren and Randy have such a natural and fun connection- photographing them was literally such a joy for me. One of my favorite things about my job is seeing how a couple connects and capturing that unique dynamic in photographs so they can hold onto those moments forever.

I was so excited when they mentioned using the DAI for their engagement session location. The front stairs at the art institute have been recently restored and the result is stunning. It was such a dreamy location for their engagement photos. The Dayton Art Institute requires a reservation and charges a fee for use of the inside of the museum for engagement photography, but allows free use of the grounds. We went while the museum was closed (they are currently only open on weekends), during golden hour. It was peaceful and we had the whole place to ourselves. A huge congratulations to the future Mr. & Mrs.! I am beyond excited to photograph their wedding day later this year!
