So excited to share a few images from a recent engagement photo session at Torrey Pines Beach. A & N are absolutely amazing together, and they wanted to use this specific North County San Diego beach because it holds some sentimental significance to them- it's where they had their first date at The Lodge at Torrey Pines!
M + S are newlyweds who decided to take advantage of their time in San Diego on business to have some gorgeous photographs taken together on the beach. They came all the way from the midwest, and I was so excited to capture some amazing moments for them.
San Diego is an amazing place to have an engagement session. There is no shortage of variety between locations, and you can choose pretty much anything. While planning this morning's engagement session, we were looking a woodsy background, since these two lovebirds will be celebrating their upcoming wedding day in Colorado.
Here is the quickest sneak peek at the incredible day we celebrated yesterday with L & S at their Liberty Station wedding. Everything about this wedding day was unique to these two amazing individuals, and I cannot wait to share all the moments from their big day- everything was so fun and carefree. Liberty Station has so many wonderful venues, and they had their ceremony at The North Chapel and their reception at Brick.
Kelly & Ryan recently tied the knot at their intimate downtown San Diego wedding ceremony. They said 'I do' at the gorgeous outdoor ceremony location at the San Diego County Administration Center, which overlooks the San Diego bay. This downtown San Diego elopement was absolutely adorable!
This weekend was so gorgeous, and I wanted to post just the quickest of sneak peeks from Sunday's engagement session in Little Italy- which is definitely one of my favorite locations for engagement photos in all of San Diego.
Yesterday was absolutely glorious. I had the honor of spending my day celebrating with these two amazing people at Brick in Liberty Station, one of the coolest, most modern wedding venues in San Diego. It's pretty much just a warehouse, so couples can decorate the space however they'd like- it makes for some really wonderful, personalized weddings, and James & Marcel's big day was no exception.
Chelsea & Eric tied the knot at the gorgeous Cordiano Winery in Escondido. The event space at the winery is surrounded with huge windows that overlook the valley- it truly has an incredible view. During their wedding ceremony, the whole room glowed in the late afternoon light. As Chelsea made her way down the aisle to her groom, there wasn't a dry eye in the building. Both her and Eric's reaction to seeing each other for the first time across the aisle was so perfect.
This recent engagement session at Marian Bear Park was absolutely dreamy. These two lovebirds met at a bookstore- probably the cutest way to meet in the world. When they opted to do an early morning photo session, I was so excited to capture all the incredible moments. They chose Marian Bear Park in La Jolla for the location of their engagement session- one of my favorite parks in San Diego. We set the time for sunrise, and set out into the woods.
Yesterday G & D tied the knot at Twin Oaks House & Garden Estate in San Marcos, CA. They enjoyed a gorgeous wedding ceremony in the garden there, surrounded by family and friends. Every detail was so beautiful. I especially loved how the bride incorporated scraps of fabric from her dress into the wrap for her bouquet. Such a lovely idea.
This gorgeous wedding overlooking the San Diego Bay at the Bay Club Hotel was absolutely perfect. The bride & groom hung Mr. & Mrs. signs from the backs of their wheelchairs and it was so adorable, such a wonderful detail. Friends and family enjoyed their outside wedding ceremony there at Shelter Island, with the following reception inside the Bay Club Hotel. Enjoy all the details from this San Diego Bay wedding!
This engagement session was a dream-come-true. I love Kelly's gorgeous outfit, and how well she and Ryan coordinated with each other. It was so perfect for the locations they chose- we began their engagement session at the Redwood Circle in Balboa Park, a unique section of woods hidden away on the less-populated side of the huge park that takes up a large part of central San Diego.
Sunrise at Sunset Cliffs Natural Park is one of my favorite times of the day. The light eases over cliffs from the east, and on a clear morning you can see the entire way down the coast to the Coronado Islands off the coast of Mexico. Derek & Paige decided to take advantage of the gorgeous morning light, and did a sunrise engagement session at Sunset Cliffs.
Tonight at Windansea Beach was absolutely gorgeous! What a beautiful sunset after these two renewed their vows to one another after seven years of marriage. A huge congratulations to Jenn & Tyson- cheers to many more years of happiness!
Yesterday at Cordiano Winery was absolutely glorious. Over the past year I have had the privilege of getting to know these two amazing people, and I was so looking forward to capturing everything on their big day! Haystack Florals did an incredible job on all the bright & whimsical floral arrangements, all the details was so gorgeous. To top it all off, we enjoyed a gorgeous sunset over the mountains during out photo time! SO excited to share everything soon!
Yesterday's wedding was unbelievably beautiful. Anh + Chris tied the knot at St. Anne's catholic church, and then we stopped by Balboa Park for just a few photos before their reception at Bonita Golf Course. I am so excited to share a quick sneak peek at a few of the photos we captured while at Balboa Park. Anh wore the veil that Chris's mother wore when she got married, and it is a showstopper. Her handmade vintage veil is everything.
This gorgeous wedding took place up the coast near Santa Barbara, CA to a gorgeous little winery in a quant town called Santa Ynez. The winery was Sunstone Winery, and it was easily one of the most gorgeous venues I have ever seen. The photo opportunities there are absolutely endless. So much pretty.
I am so excited to post a quick sneak peek from this gorgeous engagement session at Sunset Cliffs. This is easily one of my favorite locations for engagement sessions- the landscape is breathtaking- the perfect background for romantic engagement photographs.
Briana + Jordan tied the knot at Marina Village on the San Diego bay. This real wedding was full of gorgeous romantic red & white details. The back of this bride's wedding gown was so unique and absolutely stunning. I love how this fall wedding turned out- there were so many beautiful moments throughout the day.
Here is just a quick sneak peek from yesterday's gorgeous wedding at the Bay Club. SO excited to share more from this gorgeous wedding on the San Diego bay! T + D are absolutely amazing and i couldn't be happier for them!
When it comes to engagement sessions, this fall photo shoot in the woods is an absolute dream. We found some gorgeous light, and the giant trees were the perfect romantic background for some engagement photos. This eucalyptus grove is one of my favorite spots in all of San Diego. It actually looks like this year round. The trails are gorgeous, and even if the surrounding area is bustling, the woods are always peaceful.
G + M wanted to make their wedding a unique and fun experience for the just two of them to share; so they opted to elope in Mexico and then chose to have some photos taken upon their arrival back in Southern California. I am so excited to share some images from their post-elopement photo session at La Jolla Cove's Cuvier Park!
This romantic boho wedding is absolute perfection. From the sparkly champagne glasses to flower crowns for everyone- each thoughtful detail is so lovely. Ashley + Jack chose to say 'I do' at Sunset Cliffs Natural Park in Ocean Beach, CA.
Wishing everyone a safe and magical Halloween this year! This gorgeous engagement was photographed at Peltzer Winery in Temecula, and we totally stopped by their farm and pumpkin patch for just a few shots! They were so adorable!
This gem of a session happened on a Monday morning, just after A + D eloped at the courthouse in downtown San Diego. I love photographing couples just after they've gotten married- there is a certain blissful new-ness that makes everything extra magical.
Yesterday was absolutely gorgeous! Marina Village is such a wonderful venue and these two are so wonderful together! A huge congratulations to J + B! Wishing you a happiest ever after! Stay tuned for more from their big day!
