Spring Wedding at the Steam Plant in Dayton, Ohio
There is nothing quite like a spring wedding in Dayton, Ohio. After spending the winter pining for warm weather days, they are such a breath of fresh air! This spring wedding at the Steam Plant in downtown Dayton was such a perfect day. There is a very short window of time in late March through early April when the trees are flowering in their outdoor ceremony space and we were lucky enough to be able to take advantage of it during bridal party portraits.
The Steam Plant is one of those venues that is a blank slate and can be decorated in countless ways to give a more customized wedding vibe; and at the same time could really be left simple because the building itself is so beautiful. On this wedding day, the couple opted for an elegant green and white color palette that complemented the wedding venue perfectly. Vintage kerosine lamps were aglow on every table, surrounded by bud vases. Paired with live ceremony music, there definitely was a romantic vibe at this April wedding.
