Rainy Day Engagement Shoot at Balboa Park
I am so excited to share this adorable rainy day engagement session at Balboa Park! Every once in a while, it rains in San Diego. Our engagement photo session was originally planned for the beach, but the because of the rain, we decided to move our shoot to Balboa Park. There are tons of covered spots at Balboa Park to work with, even when it rains! Sophia & Dustin were visiting San Diego from San Francisco, where they live, to do some wedding planning- so we needed to get some amazing engagement photos, rain or shine! They will be tying the knot later this year, and I am so honored and excited to also be a part of their upcoming wedding day! These two are so adorable, and so in love!
There is something so romantic about the rain- the way it makes you want to cuddle up to stay warm. That combined with the historic Spanish-style architecture made this the perfect location for a romantic engagement session. I love Balboa Park as an engagement shoot location anyway, but the rain was a fun new element to work with! Puddles are a bit of a rarity, here in San Diego.
