This past Sunday on Deanna & Geneva’s wedding day, the forecast called for rain all day. As we all arrived at the venue, the rain just stopped; leaving us with a beautiful June evening to celebrate the union of two amazing people. One of my favorite moments from their wedding day was the first look. They opted to do a first look where they could both see each other at the same moment. So Deanna waited outside the front door of the house at Polen Farm for her bride the come through the door. As soon as she heard the turn of the knob, she turned to reveal her wedding day look and to see her bride in the same moment. Geneva’s reaction was absolutely priceless.

The ceremony was held outdoors at the gazebo ceremony space at Polen Farm. They quite literally tied the knot with a hand fasting ceremony, joining their hand with gorgeous lacy ribbon. Also during the ceremony, the flower girl tried to make off with one of the bride’s bouquets- so stinking cute!!! After the ceremony, we took some time to take a few photos before the reception. I loved how their bridal party was perfectly coordinated in two tones of lavender. The matrons of honor wore dresses just a shade darker than the rest of the bridesmaids and it really set them apart in the best way. Such a great idea for how to dress a bridal party! It was a magical day from the start to finish and I couldn’t be happier for the newlyweds! A huge congratulations to the Mrs. & Mrs.! Wishing you the happiest ever after.
