These images are from a recent editorial I photographed in Ft. Wayne, Indiana at the Sunken Gardens- which is a beautiful location for an outdoor wedding. The florist got creative for this photo shoot and designed a wearable bouquet for the bride. I love this non-traditional take on the bridal bouquet for so many reasons. First of all- it was really fun to photograph. There are so many creative ways to frame her face with the florals that she’s wearing. And also, carrying a bouquet on your wedding day is actually more difficult than people realize. Wedding bouquets can be quite heavy, and most the time they get ditched when the reception rolls around or used as a centerpiece for the sweetheart table- which is totally fine, but this is something you could easily carry around all day— an option I love.
