Despite the unpredictable Ohio weather, yesterday’s wedding at Canyon Run Ranch was so beautiful. Kacy and Evan made the difficult, but very wise, decision just moments before their wedding ceremony, to change gears and tie the knot inside the barn instead of in the middle of the woods, like they had planned. The rain was off and on all day, and it started pouring near the end of their ceremony. Everyone was very grateful to be under the cover of the barn. Since the call was made last minute, the venue and I set up the ceremony so that the guests were surrounding the couple as they said their vows. This kind of setup is great for smaller, more intimate ceremonies. Not only does everyone have a great view to see what’s going on, but the couple can look around and see all their loved ones surrounding them. Even the bride & groom’s dogs were there to witness everything. It may not have been the original plan, but it was an absolutely perfect day. A huge congratulations to the Mr. & Mrs.! Wishing you a happiest ever after!
